Rehne Gibb N. Larena: Cebu City Lawyer & Technology Specialist

Atty. Larena obtained his bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of San Carlos in 2008, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Carlos School of Law and Governance in 2021, where he ranked 10^th in the batch. He took the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations at the height of the pandemic.

Atty. Larena has vast experience in knowledge management, research and development engineering, web development, and project management specializing in SaaS systems utilizing Java EE and C#. Prior to taking up law, he worked as a research and development engineer at Advance World Systems/Solutions from 2008 to 2010 and as a team leader at WebXpress Inc. from 2010 to 2012. Thereafter, he became a program officer for research and knowledge management at the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. from 2014 to 2017.

In 2018, while taking up law, Atty. Larena developed eCodal+, a website which provides law resources, including compilations of relevant laws and jurisprudence, personal notes and reviewers, and mentorship programs intended to assist law students, bar reviewees, and lawyers. At present, eCodal+ caters to over 1000 subscribers.
